Drug Formulation
1 fen of Wood Fragrance, 1 fen of Rhubarb (roasted), 1 fen of Jing Sanling (raw), 1 fen of Croton Seed (remove skin and membrane; use without oil; finely ground), 1 fen of Cassia Bark (peeled), 1 fen of Green Tangerine Peel (white pith removed),Tongzi Lacquer (roasted) 1 fen, Pongshu (roasted) 1 fen, Aconite Root (roasted, with skin and navel removed) 1 fen, Dried Ginger (roasted) 1 fen, Fragrant Ink (the size of one finger joint, finely ground), Realgar half liang (soaked overnight in 1 zhan of good vinegar, then strained to remove grit).

Processing
Combine the powdered Rheum, powdered Cyperus rotundus, and Croton tiglium in a silver or stone vessel. Add 1 sheng of good vinegar and simmer until it boils once or twice; then add realgar and boil together until it forms a paste; next, add the powdered herbs, mix thoroughly, and then use a mortar and pestle to form pills the size of mung beans.

Instructions for Use
Take 5 pills per dose. If the condition is caused by consumption of cold food, cold alcohol, or cold water, resulting in a mass in the abdomen with pain, take the pills with dried ginger decoction or tangerine peel decoction; if accompanied by food stagnation and typhoid fever, taking them with plain hot water is also acceptable; if sticky food remains undigested and forms a mass, take them with boiled noodle broth;if a qi mass formed from consuming beef, mutton, fish, or soft-shelled turtle meat fails to dissipate, take with the corresponding animal’s broth; if undigested alcohol from the previous night causes blood and qi imbalance, take with Angelica wine; if a pregnant woman cannot tolerate the medicine but needs to induce labor, take with light tea. Increase the dose to 7 pills; for children, 3 pills; for regular use, 1–2 pills.
