Drug Formulation

Ginseng (Lu Dangshen or American ginseng may be substituted as appropriate) 3 liang, Astragalus (roasted) 3 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 6 liang, Prepared Rehmannia 8 liang, Angelica sinensis root 2 liang, White Peony root 2 liang, Ligusticum chuanxiong 2 liang, Licorice 1 liang (roasted).

Processing

Simmer the above herbs into a paste; just before it is finished, add 4 liang of deer antler gelatin and 3 liang of turtle shell gelatin to thicken it, then transfer it to a porcelain container to remove any residual heat.

Take several qian per dose, mixed with hot water.
