Drug Formulation

Rehmannia glutinosa (steamed with wine) 2 liang, Rehmannia glutinosa (soaked in wine) 2 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 2 liang, Panax ginseng 1 liang, Ophiopogon japonicus (core removed) 1 liang, Schisandra chinensis 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Paeonia lactiflora (stir-fried with wine) 1 liang,Chuanxiong 1 liang, Astragalus (roasted in salt water) 1 liang, Chinese yam 1 liang, Clam powder (ground separately to a very fine powder) 1 liang, Poria (peeled and woody parts removed) 1 liang, Amomum 1 liang, Anemarrhena (roasted) 1.5 liang, Phellodendron (roasted) 2 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey in a stone mortar, and pound over a thousand times; form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
