Drug Formulation
2–7 Trichosanthes seeds, 2–7 red adzuki beans, 2–7 sorghum grains, 2–7 cloves.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use
Take a dose the size of a bean and insert it into the nostril, then pinch and shake the nostril vigorously. After a short while, yellow fluid should be expelled; if more than one sheng is expelled through the mouth, the condition will be cured. If the illness is severe and one dose the size of a bean does not cure it, insert another dose into the nostril immediately, and it will be effective.
