Formulas Name : Yingsheng Pills

Chinese Name : 应圣丸

Drug Formulation

Donkey-hide gelatin (stir-fried with clam powder) 7 liang; prepared dried rehmannia root (washed) 7 liang; astragalus root (steamed with wine) 7 liang; sanguisorba root (chopped into one-cun pieces, stir-fried until charred) half a liang; Eupatorium (charred to preserve its nature) half a liang;Acacia flowers (roasted) half liang, gallnut (roasted to preserve its nature) half liang, Selaginella (roasted) half liang, palm kernel (calcined to preserve its nature) half liang, cattail pollen (roasted through paper until the color changes) half liang, mugwort leaves half liang, ginseng (root removed) half liang, cockscomb (roasted to preserve its nature) half liang, red cinnabar 1 fen (calcined).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
