Coptis (without stalks) 1 qian, Phellodendron 1 qian, Angelica (without root) 1 qian, Red Peony Root 1 qian, Apricot Kernel (without skin or tip) half a qian.

Coarsely chop the ingredients, soak them in breast milk overnight, sun-dry, and grind into a very fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Mix 1 character of the powder with fresh Rehmannia glutinosa juice and apply frequently to the eyes; wrap the eyes in new cotton, soak a cloth in a decoction of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, let it cool to a warm temperature, and bathe the eyes with it frequently.
