Drug Formulation

Half a liang of Wulingzhi, half a liang of black beans (raw, hulled).

From *Shengji Zonglu*, Volume 58.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a powder.

Benefits

For diabetes.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with decocted winter melon soup, twice daily. If winter melon is unavailable, winter melon shoots, leaves, or seeds may be used to prepare the decoction; for mild thirst, a single dose is sufficient for recovery.

Note

Once thirst has subsided, do not take hot medicines.
