Drug Formulation
Realgar 2 liang, sulfur 2 liang, cinnabar (all three ingredients ground together) 2 liang, mercury 2 liang, gold 2 liang, silver 2 liang (these two ingredients combined with mercury to form a sandy consistency), lead丹 2 liang, white lead 2 liang, sodium carbonate 2 liang, white alum 2 liang (mix all the above ingredients thoroughly in one place, place in a fire-resistant porcelain jar with a small hole drilled in the lid, and heat it over a fire, gradually increasing the heat;if smoke emerges from the hole, seal it with salt clay and continue heating for another day), 2 liang of lead white, half a liang of borneol (ground), 1 liang of musk (ground),half a liang of jade powder, half a liang of rhinoceros horn (chopped), 1 black snake (skinned, deboned, and roasted), 3 liang of white flower snake (skinned, deboned, and roasted), 2 liang of aconite root (roasted until cracked, with skin and navel removed), half a liang of ox bile (ground), 1 liang of Galangal, 1 liang of cicada slough, 1 liang of white silkworm pupae (stir-fried),2 liang of Indian turmeric, 2 liang of long pepper, 2 liang of gastrodia, 2 liang of white aconite root (roasted).

Processing
Grind the above herbs, starting from lead frost downward, into a fine powder; mix this thoroughly with the previously prepared powder of the first 10 ingredients; form into pills the size of small marbles using glutinous rice, and air-dry them.

Instructions for Use
If the condition is in its early stages, first bathe the patient, then dissolve one pill in soybean-infused wine and administer it. This will relieve chest and diaphragm discomfort and restore bodily fluids. After a period equivalent to a 10-li walk, administer the remedy with thin congee; sweating will follow shortly thereafter, and the condition will be resolved. Take one pill every three days.
