Drug Formulation

Half liang of Gan Sui (roasted until slightly yellow), half liang of Croton Seed Powder, half liang of Ophiopogon tuber (core removed, roasted), 1 fen of Oyster Shell (burned to powder), 1 fen of Lilium seed (soaked in hot water, peeled, and ground into the mixture), and 1 fen of Pearl powder.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add the ground ingredients, and mix thoroughly until uniform. Form into pills using refined honey.

Instructions for Use

For a six-month-old infant, administer one pair with warm water, each pill the size of a perilla seed; for a one-year-old, one pair, each the size of half a hemp seed; for two- and three-year-olds, one pair, each the size of a hemp seed. Always administer at cockcrow. The stool should pass by sunrise; if it does not, give the child hot congee to drink, and the stool will pass immediately.
