Benefits

For carbuncle toxicity.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, first place 2 pills under the patient’s tongue; within moments, the mouth and tongue will feel numb. Take 3 cun of scallion white, place it in the affected mouth, chew it until pulpy, and spit it into the palm of your hand. Wrap 3 pills in the scallion white and swallow them with hot wine free of ash. Immediately prepare and drink Leilu Decoction; externally, shine a “Divine Lamp” on the affected area. However, for the condition of carbuncle toxicity, if it is an acute carbuncle that has already spread, with a single red vein visible on the surface—running either upward or downward—use a needle to prick the end of the red vein. Place one pill of the medicine over the needle prick, cover it securely with a medicated plaster, and the carbuncle will return to its original location. In spring, summer, and fall, quickly gather chrysanthemum leaves; in winter, gather chrysanthemum roots. Pound them together with scallions until pulpy, wrap the mixture around the affected area, and swallow it.
