Drug Formulation

Half a liang of cloves, 1 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1.5 liang of white peony root, 1.5 liang of cinnamon bark (coarse bark removed), 1.5 liang of Galanga, 1.5 liang of white cardamom (peeled), 1.5 liang of aged tangerine peel (soaked in boiling water, white pith removed, and roasted), 1.5 liang of dried ginger (roasted),Platycodon (stir-fried) 1.5 liang, Atractylodes lancea (soaked in boiling water, peeled, and roasted) 3 liang, Clove bark 1 liang, Magnolia officinalis (coarse bark removed, thoroughly roasted with ginger juice) 1 liang, Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 1 liang.

Chop the above herbs into pieces the size of sesame seeds.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; add 1 zhan of water, 2 slices of ginger, and 3 jujubes (split open); decoct together until reduced to 6 fen; strain; and take while still slightly warm before meals.
