Drug Formulation

2 qian 5 fen of musk, 5 fen of bear bile, 5 fen of refined amber, 2 qian of borneol, 2 liang of refined glycyrrhiza, 2 qian of refined moonstone, 1 liang 5 qian of water chestnut powder, 5 fen of lily seed powder (the above 8 ingredients constitute Group A); 8 liang of raw rehmannia,Scrophularia root 4 liang, Sichuan Dendrobium 3 liang, Ophiopogon tuber 3 liang, Goji berries 3 liang, Coptis rhizome 3 liang, Scutellaria root 3 liang, Phellodendron bark 4 liang, Gentiana root 4 liang, Blue morning glory seeds 2 liang, Cassia seeds 4 liang, White tribulus 2 liang, White chrysanthemum flowers 2 liang, Mulberry leaves 4 liang, Coix seeds 2 liang, Equisetum herb 2 liang,3 liang of charred Gardenia, 8 liang of Oyster Shell, 2 liang of Bamboo Leaves, 4 liang of Night-Bright Sand, 1 liang of Trichosanthes Seed (the above 21 ingredients constitute Group B).

Processing

Grind the herbs in Group A into an extremely fine powder; decoct the herbs in Group B to a concentrated decoction, strain out the residue, add 2 jin of white honey, and simmer until it forms a paste; for each liang of the Group A powder, add 3 qian, 3 fen, and 3 li of the Group B paste; use two thick glass plates to roll the mixture into strips, each weighing approximately 9 li when moist.

Instructions for Use
