Formulas Name : Fangling Decoction

Chinese Name : 防苓汤

Drug Formulation

4 liang of Tufuling, 2 liang of Poria, 2 liang of Fangji, 2 liang of Fangfeng, 1 liang of Wood Apple, 1 liang of Astragalus, 1 liang of Angelica sinensis, sheep’s hooves (rear hooves, to be used on either side of the sore), and 100 clumps of Chinese chives (used with roots attached).

Instructions for Use

Boil the sheep’s hooves and Chinese chives, strain the broth to prepare the decoction, remove the residue, and drink it. Externally, boil a decoction of Chinese chives to wash away stagnant blood; afterward, pound mulberry bark and Chinese hackberry bark together into a paste, mix with sesame oil, and apply as a poultice.
