Drug Formulation

Gansui (lightly roasted until pale yellow) half liang; Pinellia (soaked in hot water to remove slime, then stir-fried with ginger juice until dry) 1 liang.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian bi per dose; add 1 da zan of water, decoct until reduced to 7 fen, strain out the residue, then add 1 qian bi each of powdered peony root and powdered ginseng, along with half a spoonful of honey. Decoct for another 3 liang of boiling, and take warm on an empty stomach and before the evening meal. Reduce the dose for patients with qi deficiency.
