Guzhen Decoction

Guzhen Decoction,Deficiency of both yin and yang; insufficiency of qi and blood; poor appetite; heat in the palms, soles, and chest; spontaneous sweating; afternoon tidal fevers; leakage of essence and qi; weakness when walking; soreness and pain in the lower back and hips; loose stools; deep and weak pulse;Cough with scant phlegm but copious sputum, or dry cough; or deficiency of qi, blood, and mental vitality, accompanied by fatigue, dizziness and blurred vision, poor appetite, a weak and rapid pulse, and afternoon fever, in cases on the verge of developing consumption; or deficiency due to overexertion, with a weak pulse, pain in the lower back and waist, and frequent nosebleeds upon exertion; or excessive bloody stools, a sallow and emaciated complexion,poor appetite, and shortness of breath; or women with yin deficiency, emaciation, poor appetite, deficient heat, spontaneous sweating, abdominal pain, puffy face, lower back pain, and red or white vaginal discharge.

Ginseng 1 qian, Chinese yam 1 qian, Angelica sinensis 1 qian, Astragalus 1 qian, Phellodendron 1 qian, Prepared Rehmannia 1.5 qian, Atractylodes macrocephala 0.5 fen, Alisma 0.5 fen, Cornus officinalis 0.5 fen, Psoralea corylifolia 0.5 fen, Schisandra 10 grains, Dried tangerine peel 0.8 fen, Poria 0.8 fen, Eucommia 0.7 fen, Licorice 0.7 fen.

Decoct in water and take while warm.
