3 liang Sichuan Aconite (roasted, with skin and pith removed), 3 liang Aconite, 2 liang Dried Ginger (roasted), 2 liang Red Cinnabar, 2 liang Cinnamon, 2 liang Sichuan Pepper (seeds removed, lightly roasted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Benefits

When wind-pathogenic factors and cold qi invade the heart meridians, or when the internal organs are suddenly affected by wind and cold which then ascends to the heart, it causes sudden heart pain, which may radiate to the back and spine; in severe cases, the condition may persist for a long time without resolution.

Instructions for Use

Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with warm water. Stop as soon as you feel the pain subside. If the pain persists, increase the dose to 50 pills, stopping when relief is felt. If you take the medicine early in the day and feel no effect, take another 20 pills after noon. For chronic heart pain, take 30 to 50 pills per dose until the entire prescription is finished; this will prevent recurrence for the rest of your life.
