Drug Formulation

Dried ginger (unroasted) 1 liang, genuine tangerine peel (with white pith intact, washed) 1 liang, Tiannanxing (raw) 1 liang, Pinellia (unwashed) 1 liang.

Processing

First, pound 1 liang of fresh ginger (with skin on) into a paste; mix the processed Pinellia and Aconite powder into a dough; then combine the remaining ingredients in one batch. Use the natural juice from the ginger to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed, and coat them with a small amount of realgar.

Instructions for Use

Take 30–50 pills per dose, washed down with ginger soup; take at any time, though it is especially effective when taken before bedtime.
