Drug Formulation

Half a liang of white peony root, half a liang of angelica root, half a liang of acanthopanax bark, half a liang of lycium bark, half a liang of ginseng, 2 qian of myrrh, 2 qian of cinnamon bark, and 3 qian of peony bark.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, with half a zhan each of water and wine; if not drinking wine, use only 1 zhan of water. Dip one Kaiyuan coin in sesame oil, add it to the mixture, and simmer until reduced to 7 fen. Strain and drink in one gulp. Do not stir while simmering, and do not blow on the liquid before drinking.
