Drug Formulation

Saposhnikovia root, Angelica pubescens, and Sophora japonica twigs—each in equal parts; Angelica sinensis, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Angelica dahurica, Asarum, and Ligusticum sinense(Coarsely chop the above ingredients. Add half a jin of sesame oil, steep for 3 days, boil until charred, strain out the residue, then add the following herbs), 1 liang of white beeswax, 1 liang of yellow beeswax, 5 qian of official-grade talc, 5 qian of frankincense, 5 qian of myrrh, 5 qian of dragon bone, 5 qian of white litharge, 5 qian of gypsum, 5 qian of Angelica dahurica (all ground into powder), and 0.5 fen of musk (ground into powder).

Processing
