4 jin of vegetable oil, 14 geckos, 28 spiders, and 26 snails.

Processing

Place the last three ingredients in a pot of oil and simmer until they are completely dried out and float to the surface; then remove them;then add half a jin each of fresh Polygonum multiflorum vine leaves, Chrysanthemum root, peppermint, burdock, and cocklebur, and boil over high heat until the herbs are completely charred. Strain out the residue; once the oil has cooled, add 4 liang each of forsythia, scrophularia, sophora root, white smilax, white mustard seed, and dried silkworm,4 liang of water-red seed kernels (each crushed), 4 liang of rhubarb, 4 liang of Chinese mint, and 4 liang of saposhnikovia root. Soak overnight, then simmer until the mixture turns black and withers. Strain the oil through a fine sieve. Once the weight is verified, add half a jin of processed wood turtle oil. Slowly add and stir in roasted yellow丹 while stirring continuously until well blended. Simmer over low heat until a drop of the mixture forms a bead and the ointment no longer sticks to the fingers;Then add 2 qian of clove oil, 2 qian of musk, and 1 liang of suhe oil; stir until uniform, then remove from heat.

Apply as a poultice.

Note

Contraindicated for those without tubercles.
