Drug Formulation

2 liang of Motherwort, 4 qian of Acute Seed (i.e., Golden Phoenix Seed), 4 qian of Angelica sinensis, 1 liang of aged Trifoliate Orange Peel, 2 qian of raw Rehmannia root, 2 qian of white Peony root, 2 qian of Perilla leaf, 8 fen of licorice, 1 qian of cinnamon bark, 1 qian of Sichuan lovage, 1 qian of aged mugwort, and 1 raw carp.

Grind the ingredients into a powder and divide into two doses.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, use 3 bowls of water and decoct until reduced to 2 bowls. Just before taking, add 1 spoonful of good vinegar; mix 1 pill of Wujin Pills into each bowl and take. If the stillborn fetus does not expel, immediately take the decoction residue (without the roots) and take 2 doses in succession to save her life.
