Drug Formulation

Half a jin of mung beans, 2 liang of plantain seeds, 2 liang of barley winter, 2 liang of lampwick, and 2 liang of licorice.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with water to form pills the size of mung beans, and coat them with 5 qian of cinnabar.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian per dose, washed down with equal parts yin and yang water, or warm tea; for bloody dysentery, mix with brown sugar; for white dysentery, mix with white sugar; for mixed bloody and white dysentery, mix with both brown and white sugar.
