Drug Formulation

Huai Sheng Di (prepared according to standard method) 8 liang, Huai Shan Yao 4 liang, Bai Fu Ling 4 liang (mixed with human milk, sun-dried, then mixed again; the more times this is repeated, the better), Shan Zhu Yu (pitted) 4 liang, Mu Dan Pi 3 liang, Mai Men Dong (core removed) 6 liang,Alisma 3 liang (reduce by half for eye disorders), Chrysanthemum flowers (do not use the bitter variety) 6 liang, Authentic Lycium barbarum (stems removed) 6 liang, Schisandra chinensis 6 liang (remove withered parts. Another formula adds Tribulus terrestris, stir-fried to remove thorns, 5 liang).
