Drug Formulation

1 black snake head (soaked in wine, then baked dry), 1 centipede (coated with butter, then roasted until charred), 1 qian whole scorpion (detoxified, lightly roasted), 1 fen Sichuan aconite root (processed, with skin and pith removed), 1 qian ephedra (roots and nodes removed), and half a qian musk (ground separately).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then add the musk and grind until evenly mixed.

Instructions for Use

For a six-month-old infant, administer 1 zi per dose; for a one-year-old child, administer half a qian per dose, mixed with decocted Schizonepeta decoction, without regard to the time of day.
