Drug Formulation

Aojing: half a jin (processed, peeled); Trifoliate Orange Peel: 1.5 liang (fried with wheat bran); Green Tangerine Peel (white pith removed): 1 liang; Dried Tangerine Peel (white pith removed): 1 liang; Acorus Rhizome (simmered in vinegar): 1 liang; Atractylodes Rhizome (simmered in vinegar): 1 liang; Cyperus Rhizome (processed): 1 liang; Star Anise (roasted): 1 liang; Dried Lacquer (roasted): 1 liang,Agastache (washed) 1 liang, Magnolia Bark 1 liang 3 qian, Apricot Kernels (peeled and tips removed) 1 liang 3 qian, Amomum 1 liang 3 qian, Soapberry Pods 2 liang (peeled and string removed), Black Pharbitis 2 liang, Cardamom 1 liang, Hundred-Grass Ash 1 liang (preferably from rural areas where firewood is made from a mixture of various grasses).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with wheat flour paste to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose, either before bedtime or during the day, regardless of the time. Take 1–2 doses with wine, clear tea, or salted water as desired; you will immediately feel relief in the abdomen without the risk of diarrhea.
