Processing

First, take one very large Trichosanthes fruit, cut a hole in it, and remove the seeds. Mix the Xiangfu, Peach Kernels, and the three types of seeds—white leek stalk, and lo-gourd seeds—mix these seven ingredients thoroughly, fill the lo-gourd shell with the mixture, seal the opening, cover it with hemp-pulp paper, and coat the exterior thickly with cooked yellow clay. Calcine over a fire for three sticks of incense; when the smoke is nearly gone, remove it and place it on the muddy ground to cool before taking it out of the fire. Then break open the clay to retrieve the charred medicine, grind it extremely fine, and mix the four ingredients—Leng,Qing, Yan, and Mo—four ingredients—and grind them extremely evenly. Use buckwheat flour paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
