Drug Formulation

2 liang of Pueraria root, 3 liang of Sophora root, 2 liang of Scutellaria root, 1 liang of Coptis root, 1 liang of Red Peony root, 1 liang of White Peony root, 15 liang of Talc.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add talc (water-washed and ground to a very fine powder), and mix thoroughly; separately, decoct 2 liang of Pueraria root, 3 liang of Sophora root, 2 liang of Scutellaria root, 4 liang of Artemisia annua, 2 liang of Fructus Aurantii, and 1 liang of Lindera root to make a decoction;Then take 8 liang of fresh lotus leaves (pounded), 2 liang of raw radish seeds (ground), 3 liang of fresh patchouli (pounded), and 3 liang of fresh peppermint (pounded); pound all these ingredients together in a mortar until well blended, add the decoction, and squeeze out the juice twice; then add 8 liang of pure radish juice, and shape into small pills the size of mung beans.
