Half a liang of Gastrodia elata, half a liang of Ligusticum chuanxiong, half a liang of Aconite root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), half a liang of Dogspine (hairs removed), half a liang of Rhododendron flower, half a liang of Agastache leaf, half a liang of Trichosanthes (i.e., Trumpet Creeper flower), half a liang of dried scorpion (cleaned of dirt, stir-fried), half a liang of earthworm (cleaned of dirt, stir-fried),Gaoban (with stems and soil removed) half liang, Angelica dahurica half liang, Frankincense (ground) half liang, Liquidambar resin (ground) half liang, White silkworm pupae (roasted) half liang, Tribulus seeds (roasted, horns removed) half liang, Du Huo (root tip removed) half liang, White-flowered snake (soaked in wine, bones and skin removed, roasted) 1 liang,Ephedra (roots and nodes removed) 1 liang, Smilax glabra 1 liang, Decayed Turtle (vinegar-roasted) 1 liang, Aconite (cracked by roasting, skin and navel removed) 2 liang.

Processing

Pound and sift the 19 ingredients listed above into a fine powder; mix evenly with the 2 ground ingredients; combine with refined honey to form pills the size of a marble; separately grind 1 fen of cinnabar, 2 qian each of borneol and musk, and mix them together to form a coating.
