Drug Formulation

6 jin of Hangzhou Ophiopogon (core removed), boiled into a paste; half a jin of Polygonum multiflorum (mixed with black beans, steamed and sun-dried nine times each, ground into powder, then soaked in human milk—the number of soakings is not specified—until it weighs 1 jin after drying); 4 liang of Da Huai prepared Rehmannia; 5 qian of Safflower (washed with wine); 4 liang of Angelica sinensis (washed with wine); 5 qian of deer antler (roasted with butter).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly, incorporate into the Ophiopogon paste, and add a small amount of refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Take 3 qian per dose, gradually increasing to 5 qian, taken with yellow wine or boiling water as desired.
