Drug Formulation

5 liang of Sichuan Aconite (roasted until slightly yellow), 2.5 liang of Wulingzhi (purified), 5 liang of Myrrh, and 1 qian of Frankincense.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a marble.

Instructions for Use

For each pill: First, decoct 1 zhan of wine with 7 slices of ginger and 7 mint leaves until reduced to 7 fen. Strain and let cool to lukewarm. Add 1 zi of brain matter. Chew the pill thoroughly, hold it in the mouth for a short while, then swallow it with the prepared wine. Take before bedtime.
