Drug Formulation

5 qian of genuine ox gallstone, 5 qian of genuine dog’s gallstone (preferably snow-white with fine, translucent spiral patterns), 2 liang 5 qian of red cinnabar (calcined with vinegar 9 times), 1 liang 5 qian of top-quality agarwood, 2 liang 5 qian of genuine amber (ground together with lampwick), 5 qian of musk (genuine “Dangmenzi” variety), 100 fresh pearls(weighing 5 qian each; embed them in tofu, boil until the mixture comes to a rolling boil several times, then remove and grind together with lampwick), split cinnabar 1 liang 5 qian (half to be used as a coating), and 1,000 sheets of gold leaf.

Processing

Select the finest quality of each of the above ingredients, measure them accurately in liang, and grind them into a fine powder. Boil red dates until hot, remove the skins and pits, and take 10 liang of the pure flesh. Pound it into a paste and form it into pills the size of small mung beans. Dry them under the scorching sun, store them in a porcelain jar, and ensure no vapor escapes.

Instructions for Use

Take 7 pills per dose, weighing approximately 1 fen, with half a tea clock of pear juice; swallow them all at once while hot, then immediately drink some congee broth.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods, wheat-based foods, spicy foods, and gas-producing foods. Wait until fully recovered before resuming a normal diet; eat a balanced diet and take care to regulate your health. Strictly avoid anger and frustration; do not worry about worldly matters; instead, rest quietly and keep a cheerful disposition.
