Drug Formulation

3 liang of Magnolia, 3 liang of Trifoliate Orange Fruit (roasted), 3 liang of Scutellaria, 3 liang of Atractylodes, 2 liang of Lo Lu root, 2 liang of White Polygonum, 2 liang of Cimicifuga, 2 liang of Peony, 2 liang of Platycodon, 4 liang of Fresh Ginger, 4 liang of Rhubarb (one version includes 3 liang of Scrophularia).

Instructions for Use

Decoct the above herbs in 8 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng and 6 he; divide into 3 doses. Take one dose after walking 3–4 li.

Note

Avoid peaches, plums, pork, and sparrow meat.
