Drug Formulation

4 liang of fish blubber, 4 liang of beeswax, 2 liang of alum (ground into powder), 5 qian of cinnabar (refined), 5 qian of pearl (ground into powder), and 5 qian of ivory (ground).

Processing

First, boil the fish blubber until extremely soft, then pound it into a paste. Add the beeswax and melt it completely. Remove from heat, then add the alum, cinnabar, and ground ivory, mixing thoroughly to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
