Drug Formulation

Realgar (washed in water, de-mineralized, and stir-fried) 3 liang; Fenugreek 1.5 liang; Frankincense 0.5 liang; Agarwood 0.5 liang; Dried Tangerine Peel 4 liang; Dried Ginger 4 liang; Angelica Root 4 liang; Magnolia Bark 4 liang; Sichuan Lovage Root 4 liang,Fennel 4 liang, Black Pepper 4 liang, Amomum 4 liang, Licorice 4 liang, Prepared Aconite Root 4 liang, White Atractylodes, Rock Salt, and Schisandra 1.5 liang, Asafoetida 0.5 liang (dissolved in vinegar), high-quality wine 5 sheng, high-quality vinegar 5 sheng, high-quality honey 10 liang, fine wheat flour 2 jin, Cloves.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Use a silver-lined stone pot; add the wine, vinegar, and honey. First, add the cloves, salt, and the three spices, along with the flour, and simmer until thick and sticky. Then add half a jin of the herbal powder and continue simmering until the mixture reaches the consistency of thin paste. Gradually incorporate the remaining herbal powder, simmering until the desired consistency is achieved. Turn off the heat, remove from the pot, and mix in the remaining dry herbal powder. Knead thoroughly to form a dough, then pound with a pestle into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 15–20 pills per dose; chew them on an empty stomach and wash them down with ginger wine broth.
