Chinese Name : 牛膝煎

Drug Formulation

Achyranthes root (stems removed) 2 liang, Gastrodia tuber 2 liang, Aconite root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed, used raw) 2 liang, Notopterygium root (root base removed) 2 liang, Angelica root (sliced, roasted) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Use 2 sheng of black beans, 3 jin of mulberry twigs (finely chopped), and 4 liang of ginger (sliced). Add 2 dou of water and decoct until reduced to 2.5 sheng; strain out the residue. Add the medicinal powder and decoct until it becomes a paste.

Instructions for Use

Take half a spoonful per dose, mixed with warm wine on an empty stomach. Take another dose in the evening.
