2 liang Sichuan pepper, 2 liang Angelica sinensis, 2 liang realgar, 2 liang cinnabar, 1 sheng Aconite, 1 sheng croton seed, 1 jin white leek, 4 liang mang grass.

Processing
Coarsely crush the ingredients, soak them in 3 sheng of vinegar overnight, then use 5 jin of lard to simmer them over a fire fueled by reed wood on an east-facing stove, raising and lowering the pot five times each. Wait until the leek whites turn yellow, strain out the residue, grind the realgar and cinnabar into a fine powder, add them to the mixture, and stir until it thickens. The ointment is then ready; store it in a non-porous container.

Instructions for Use
Take a dose of warm wine the size of a jujube seed; this will stop the vomiting. If the toxic effects are severe and the throat is blocked so that swallowing is impossible, break a tooth and place a scallion leaf in the mouth, then pour the ointment into the scallion leaf to force it down;For swelling, rub the swollen area over a fire; if the year is unusually warm and one wishes to prevent illness or must travel through mist or dew, take the ointment with wine or instill it into the nostrils; for poisonings from centipedes, snakes, bees, and the like, apply the ointment to the wound; if the injury is external, apply it liberally and massage the area.
