1 qian of Trichosanthes rhizome, 1 qian of Curcuma zedoaria (roasted), 1 qian of lacquer (stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), 1 qian of Aquilaria wood, 1 qian of indigo powder, 1 qian of high-quality ink.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills using a boiled starch paste.
