Drug Formulation
4 liang of Atractylodes lancea (wash thoroughly, chop into thin slices; first soak in rice washing water overnight, strain; then soak in clean water overnight, strain; dry in an oven or in the sun), 2 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala,Citrus peel (white pith removed) 2 liang, jujubes 4 liang (finely chopped), Magnolia bark (coarse outer bark removed) 4 liang (first soaked in natural ginger juice overnight, then roasted over a fire until fragrant and finely chopped), fresh ginger 4 liang (sliced), licorice 2 liang (chopped into pieces about half a cun long).

Processing
Prepare the above herbs according to the specified quantities. Place the herbs in a porcelain pot, cauldron, or jar, cover with water to a depth of about 2–3 cun, and simmer over a moderate heat—neither too high nor too low—until the liquid has evaporated. Remove from the heat, dry thoroughly, and grind into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use
