Drug Formulation

1 large toad (stuff its abdomen with Amomum villosum, hang it upside down, air-dry in the shade, roast until crisp, and grind into powder), 1 qian of ginseng, 1 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala (stir-fried with earth), 1 qian of areca nut, 1 qian of Schisandra chinensis pulp (stir-fried), 2 qian of Cinnabar (stir-fried with vinegar), 1 liang 5 qian of Coptis chinensis, 1 liang 5 qian of hawthorn, and 1 liang 5 qian of barley malt.
