Drug Formulation

1 liang of white Alpinia root, 3 fen of rhino horn shavings, 1 fen of decayed drum skin (burned until yellowish-charred), 1 liang of Sichuan Cimicifuga, half a liang of licorice (lightly roasted until reddish, chopped), half a liang of dried indigo leaves, and 3 fen of red peony root.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian per dose. Add 2–7 grains of fermented soybeans to 1 small cup of water, decoct until reduced to 5 fen, strain, and take warm. Take at any time.
