Drug Formulation

1 liang of Pinellia (washed in hot water 3–7 times), 2 pieces of Areca nut peel, 3 fen of Ginseng, 3 fen of Loquat leaves (hairs removed, roasted), 3 fen of Softshell Turtle Carapace (roasted with vinegar until yellow), 3 fen of Bupleurum (stems removed),1 liang Poria (peeled), 3 fen Xianhu (stems removed), 3 fen Tangerine Peel (white pith removed), and half a liang Peony Root.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose; add 1.5 medium bowls of water and 3 slices of fresh ginger; decoct until reduced to 7 fen; take while warm.
