Drug Formulation

2 liang of Da Zhe Shi, 2 liang of Purple Quartz, 2 liang of Yu Yu Liang Stone, and 2 liang of Red Ocher (for these four ingredients, quench and calcine 7–8 times with vinegar until they reach the consistency of butter; grind into a fine powder, place in a clay jar, seal with salt mud, and calcine over charcoal fire for one day and one night; then bury in another location to remove the fire toxicity for three days and nights before adding the following ingredients),1 Tianxiong (roasted, skin and navel removed), 1 Fuzi (roasted, skin and navel removed), 1 liang Dried Ginger (roasted), 1 liang Deer Antler (scorched to remove blood and hair, then roasted with salt and wine), 1 liang Danggui (root base removed, soaked in wine), 1 liang Agarwood, 1 liang Frankincense, 1 liang Cloves,Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Yangqishi 1 liang, Cistanche 1 liang, Magnetite 1 liang, Stone Swallow 1 liang, Fenugreek (roasted and stir-fried) 1 liang, Polygonum multiflorum (stir-fried) 1 liang, Nutmeg (baked) 1 liang,imported anise (roasted) 1 liang, black pepper 1 liang, long pepper (stem removed) 1 liang, oyster shell (calcined) 1 liang, frankincense (ground separately) 1 liang, benzoin (ground separately) 1 liang, dragon’s blood (ground separately) 1 liang, cinnabar (ground separately) 1 liang, myrrh (ground separately) 1 liang, stalactite powder 1 liang.

Processing

Grind all the ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using glutinous rice paste.
