2 buckets of children’s urine, 12 liang of soapberry pods, and 10 liang of apricot kernels.

Processing

Boil 9 bowls of water with soap pods until reduced to 3 bowls; pour this into the urine. Use peach and willow twigs to stir the urine mixture vigorously, then let it settle and pour off the clear liquid, discarding the turbid sediment at the bottom. Next, boil 10 liang of apricot kernels to yield 3 bowls of liquid; pour this into the urine and stir vigorously as before, discarding the clear liquid and retaining the turbid mixture. Then, render 12 liang of lard into liquid, strain out the residue, and pour it into the urine mixture, stirring well.discard the floating film, and settle the mixture again to separate the clear from the turbid; then, soak human breast milk in boiling water until it forms a solid mass, pour it into the mixture, and stir as before; let it settle for another day, then pour off the clear water and retain the turbid, starchy slurry at the bottom. Scoop it up with a wooden spoon and pour it onto mulberry bark paper. First, create a deep depression in the ash using a shovel; place the mulberry bark paper on top of the ash to absorb the mixture. When a dry, white, creamy powder forms on the paper, Qiu Shi is complete.Do not disturb it; sun-dry for 1–2 days, then store in a porcelain jar.

Instructions for Use

For every 1 liang of Autumn Stone, mix with 3 qian of persimmon frost. Take 1–2 fen per dose, up to a maximum of 7–8 fen, and take it on an empty stomach with boiling water.
