Drug Formulation

Half a liang of realgar, 1 fen of licorice (roasted until slightly reddish, then coarsely chopped), 1 fen of aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed), and 1 fen of asarum.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with dog bile to form pills the size of a jujube pit.

Instructions for Use

Wrap one pill in cotton and insert it into the nose. After a short while, 2–3 sheng of pus will be discharged, and the condition will be cured.
