Processing

Grind the first three ingredients (calcined to remove fire toxicity) into a fine powder; prepare the remaining seven ingredients as a loose powder, then mix them together with the first three.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose. For difficult labor, take with elm bark decoction; akebia herb may also be used. For postpartum pelvic pain, take with urine. For retained lochia, take with wine. For blood-induced fainting, take with urine. For convulsions caused by blood wind, take with ginseng decoction. For typhoid fever, take with hot water.for sudden visions of ghosts or spirits after childbirth, take with Peach Kernel Decoction; for blood wind causing disorientation, take with a decoction of Rice Sack Flower; for postpartum swelling of the limbs, take with horse manure juice; for all other ailments, take with wine.
