Drug Formulation

1 large Aconite root (peeled and with navel removed), 2 liang Cardamom (peeled), 2 liang Dried Ginger (roasted), 1 liang Licorice (roasted), 6 Large Fuki (with skin), 1 Papaya (seeded and sliced).

Processing

Boil all ingredients together in water in a sand pot until the liquid is reduced by half. Split the dried ginger open; it is ready when the interior is no longer white. Do not allow the water to dry completely, lest the mixture scorch near the bottom. Remove the ingredients, chop them, and roast them to make a powder.

Deficiency of spleen qi, accompanied by edema.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, on an empty stomach and at noon, mixed with boiling water.
