Drug Formulation

1 dead rat (medium-sized), 2 liang of tangled hair, 3 liang of pine resin, 3 liang of yellow lead oxide (roasted until yellow).

Processing

Combine the above ingredients with 1 jin of oil. Simmer the rat and hair over low heat until dissolved, then strain through cotton to remove the residue and transfer the liquid to a cauldron. Add the pine resin and orpiment, and stir with a willow wood spatula until evenly mixed. Once the ointment is ready, store it in a porcelain container.
