Drug Formulation

Sweet Chrysanthemum Flowers 6 liang, Ophiopogon Tuber (core removed, roasted) 6 liang, Goji Berries (roasted) 6 liang, White Atractylodes 6 liang, Ginseng 6 liang, White Poria (black skin removed) 6 liang, Polygala Root (core removed) 6 liang, Acorus Rhizome (grown on rock) 6 liang, Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed) 6 liang, Prepared Rehmannia Root 1 jin (roasted).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder. Take 50 jin of raw Rehmannia root harvested in spring, squeeze out the juice, and mix the powdered herbs with the Rehmannia juice in a silver or stone vessel. Gradually add the Rehmannia juice while gently stir-frying; continue until all the juice has been incorporated. Dry in an oven, then grind again into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills, adding a small amount of clarified butter to each pill, making them the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 20 pills per dose on an empty stomach, before meals, washed down with clear wine. Gradually increase the dose to 50 pills, then gradually reduce it back to 20 pills, and repeat the cycle.
