Drug Formulation

Cinnamon Twig (with coarse bark removed) 1 liang, Pueraria Root (chopped) 1 liang, Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed) 1.5 liang, Gardenia Seed 0.5 liang, Gypsum 1 fen.

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose with 1 zhan of water; add 1 stalk of chopped scallion white and 30 black beans. Decoct until reduced to 7 fen, strain, and take while hot. Wait a long time before taking another dose. Follow with thin congee made with scallion white; a slight sweat will bring about recovery.
