Drug Formulation

6 liang of Smilax glabra (Day 1 formula), 1 qian of Ophiopogon japonicus (core removed), 1 qian of crushed castor bean pulp, 1 qian of almonds (skin and tip removed), 7 crushed ginkgo nuts, 6 liang of Smilax glabra (Day 2 formula), 5 fen of castor bean,5 fen of apricot kernels, 5 ginkgo nuts, 5 fen of ophiopogon, 6 liang of Smilax glabra (Day 3 formula), 2 fen 5 li of ophiopogon, 2 fen 5 li of castor bean, 2 fen 5 li of apricot kernels, 3 ginkgo nuts.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, use 3–4 bowls of water; decoct until reduced by half to about 2 bowls, and drink the entire amount throughout the day. Cycle through the three formulas repeatedly until the ulcer heals.

Note

Eat plenty of soft pork daily to aid in the regeneration of muscle tissue.
